The European event for the kids of less than 16 years’ old found of ski & snowboard freestyle

MERIBEL - FEBRUARY the 17 th, 2008

Perfect conditions for this first stage with the Oxbow Kids’ Week Freestyle Tour in Méribel, radiant sun, a table with 3 kickers and 1 butter box, a perfectly slope style shaped by the staff of the HO5 park and shapers of the Méribel Moon Park, in face of the Chaudane snow front.

More than forty young freestylers, skiers and snowboarders, met together to perform great tricks by ensuring the show in front of a large public, impressed by the talent of these kids, some of them very young …. “ Even not afraid !!!”

A show also ensured by all the children of the Oxbow kids TEAM; Vincent, Alex, Théo, Benji, Chico, Aurélien, which integrated the TEAM by taking part in the previous editions of “Oxbow Kids’ Week”, all these big champions were accompanied by David Livet, a professional snowboarder of the Oxbow TEAM which also participated in the show and certainly made dreaming a considerable number of these kids by making tricks of another galaxy…

After the training session, the kids were looking forward to finishing in order to discover the official winner who will gain his place in the freestyle training camp on the glacier of the 2 Alpes this summer with the riders and coaches of the Oxbow TEAM; Laurent Favre, David Livet, Flo Cuviller…

One and a half hour of Jam session during which, all the candidates will be able to perform in order to to attract the judges’ vigilance .

Maxence Gisin, the winner of the competition in Méribel, a young skier of 14 years’ old from the station of Val Thorens will be the one that will be invited to the 2 Alpes…
